Why I can't watch cops.

Every so often I turn on the TV to see what popular culture has become. So last night I turn on "COPS" on fox network.

I watch about 6 guys responding to a gun call. The burst in the house, taze the guy for being slow about raising his hands (oh didn't catch that on camera) drag him out.

Turns out he had been shooting a BB gun earlier. So they arrest him for "obstruction" because he didn't raise his hands fast enough. Then they sit around talking to each other about how lucky he was not to get shot.

WTF? It was a BB gun! He was not carrying it, nor discharging it when they showed up. Even if it had been a gun, where was the immediate threat?

Do the police not see what this is doing to their reputation?

I had to turn it off after that, I just couldn't sit still in my seat to watch any more of it.

Re: Why I can't watch cops.

I saw an episode of "street patrol" (a cops ripoff) the other day, and it disgusted me as well. A scared wife called the cops because some gang bangers were threatening her husband and child, the husband pulls out a pistol to defend his family, the cops show up, the gang bangers run away, the cops yell at the husband to drop the gun and get on the ground, they arrest him for brandishing a firearm and take him to jail. The only bright side was the guy telling the camera that he would rather go to jail for defending his family than not pull the gun and watch the gang bangers have their way with his family. The cops congratulated eachother on a job well done.

My wife and I were stunned after seeing that.

Cops and criminals are both born from the same DNA.

Funny... I shoot my BB gun sometimes in my backyard, and I live in a residential neighborhood. Maybe I could get tazed on COPS!!

I can't watch COPS any longer than I can watch Bush's ugly grill on TV. Or MSM news. I hate it all.

Besides, doing any of that takes away from my GIM and/or drinking time.

Police these days are very high strung. I've seen what you're talking about too. The littlest thing sets them off.

Police stop to question a man who appears to be walking funny.
Cop 1: Sir, how much have you had to drink tonight?
Suspect: Nothing. I'm just walking to my apartment from my car.

Cop 1: I said lay down on the ground!!!

Suspect: Ahhhhhhhh!!!!!!
Cop 1: Stop resisting!!!

Suspect: Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!
Cop 1: [on radio] Suspect is being combative, I need backup!!

Tazer: zap zap zap zap zap

[Suspect passes out from the pain and trauma. He's later pronounced dead. Cause of death officially reported as Unknown]

Noted.

There is no up without a down.

There is no left without a right.

There is no in without an out.

I could go on forever, but I believe you get the picture.

Cops need criminals to justify their existence. They could not survive without them.

This is why this method of peonage by our controllers is so pervasive. It creates roles that people are drawn into, create their life around, and creates a new paradigm for the masses.

But close analysis of this paradigm reveals the divisions created among us, the curtain retracted to reveal the fraud of our honor.

Oh, and opposites attract. Perhaps because they could not exist without each other.

I just can't stand to see the endless line of sad and mostly stupid people hauled away to jail for using drugs. What a tragedy on so many levels.

(Scenario 1 interrupted...)

Scenario 2:

Dozens of neighborhood residents pour into the area, some with loaded firearms, others with Molotov cocktails. The pigs respond with gunfire, but the citizens force them back to their cars with their own gunfire. Two pigs screaming in flames from well-targeted Molotovs. A couple of citizens trained in medical science aid the injured citizen and carry him into his house.

Cops refuse to return to neighborhood despite "lawlessness," since the last groups of pigs who shot and killed a Down's Syndrome kid across town last night paid with their lives under similar citizen response.

Then the government shuts down the water and electricity and 99.99% of the public becomes docile, pliable little lambs.

My wife and I watched that last night as well.

I know exactly what you mean. We couldn't stand anymore of it either.

I'd put on a hell of a show if I were ever on COPS.... but they would never air the episode...

The froggy in water thingy.

Do we boil to death slowly?

Or do we "turn up the heat" so froggy hops out sooner?

Squads of heavily armed Citizens attack and over run Water and Electric stations. Then lay siege to the police stations. Civil War 2 erupts.

I saw one the other day where the guy buys a dimebag of pot from a plain clothes cop infront of a house or duplex. As the guy is walking away back towards his car a cop built like a linebacker sprints full speed at the guy and dives straight at him from behind tackling him to the ground. Disgusting.

Was this out in public on the street or on the families property? Not that it makes much of a difference as the guy did nothing wrong.

In my mind, though, I wouldn't pull a weapon unless I was going to use it. If I feel threatened enough to display the weapon, it would only be a fraction of a second after it was 'brandished' that it would be fired in defense.

I would love to see the video of that one. I just can't believe the agenda and expectations that they are pushing down our throats with scenes like these. I guess we're supposed to believe that it is a job well done.

You would be amazed at how many good upstanding men are in prison right now for doing honorable, noble deeds like protecting their family and women from predators. The judacized talmudic legal system that we are forced to endure turns heroic upstanding men into criminals everyday. These same men would be praised by our ancestors for doing honorable and courageous deeds, but this is what happens when your culture and values are destroyed and overrun.

Anyone in the San Bernandino Co. area? Was about a year or so ago, had it on video, a SB cop shot a iraq war vet 3 times in the back after pulling the driver over for speeding or something, the vet was the passenger, I think it was a by-stander who was shooting the vid of the stop, it's pretty clear, the vet guy was on the ground (and he was attached to a security detail, maybe MP in iraq, but Active duty, so he knows the procedure full well) you here a cop say GET-UP, GET-UP,....the vet says "OK, I'm getting up now", with arms extended, as he starts to get up slowly, Bam,Bam,Bam..cop standing over him, shoots him in the back 3 times...afterward a statement releashed was "he made threatening jestures toward the officer"...LOL yea, right. you're on your belly, a cop says get up, then he shoots you 3 times in the back...very scary

You obviously are not in any profession that might be life threatening. A stockbroker or engineer or something?

The reason I say this is because if you have the attitude that you shouldn't pull a weapon unless you plan on shooting it, which makes no sense. There are MANY reasons to pull a gun and NOT shoot it, more than there are TO shoot it. Maybe it was just phrased wrong, maybe you meant to say you would not pull a gun unless you were *prepared* to use it.

I guess you just have to think of it in other terms. Think bank robberies, business holdups, felony car stops, known violent offender arrests, search warrants, barricaded suspects, etc. All these situations NEED a weapon displayed, but not all of them lead to a shooting(hiopefully). If you go into these situations without a gun "displayed" or pulled, you are not going to go into many more like them.......

Flash I saw that episode, the guy was clearly not following their orders, and they were on a call about a "man with a gun". The cops acted absolutely appropriately in that case.

1) He was off camera, until after being tazed, so that's horseshit. Why do they issue orders to people after they taze them? Do they not understand what a tazer is?
2) Not obeying a police officers - The guy is in his house, the police were not in pursuit of a criminal. No Warrant, no authority.
3) Arrested for obstruction. Of your own arrest for obstruction. Did that even make it past the first meeting with the judge?
4) Having a gun is not a crime.

------

If the police don't want to bother with probable cause, it looks like all they have to do is record an anonymous gun tip.

I don't want a breakdown in law and order. I don't want to live in a police state. I don't want a revolution. But if the police can't follow the law, we will have all three.
